With a history spanning over a decade of skin biopsy's annually as a result of tanning bed usage and sunburns, I spent a lot of money on sunless tanning lotions with barely any satisfying results. I experimented with spray tanning, and wanted to hide for the first few days after because the results were not for my skin tone. When my Father was diagnosed with melanoma in the Summer of 2017, I was determined to provide, succeed at, and educate for a healthy alternative. I wanted to bring awareness to the rise in skin cancer and to encourage to protect the largest organ of the body: your skin. Simply Tan was created and driven to stimulate a healthy lifestyle by providing a natural, organic sunless tanning alternative to harmful UV ray tanning.
Our mission is to offer and provide clients consistent, predictable and natural results with every spray tan using the highest premium grade product in the market. To be an exceptional airbrush spray tanning business that educates on the benefits of spray tanning, and offers peace of mind and confidence for every appointment.
My 12 year Fashion Merchandising career in NYC working for Tory Burch and Ralph Lauren gave me an incredible and strong view on how to express yourself and create your own style. Fashion is feeling confident in your own skin and essentially dressing your skin with pride and unique style. Creating Simply Tan was a seamless career expansion. The main difference being instead of creating clothes that women feel empowered in, I am providing confidence, comfort and peace of mind for the skin that is revealed beyond the clothes with encouragement to protect the skin you are in.

As a former cheerleader for the Buffalo Bills and lover of a sun kissed look, I spent way too much time in tanning beds (YUCK) or getting spray tans that were a complete disaster.

Living in (usually overcast) Binghamton my whole life and having fair skin, it was always my "goal" going to tanning beds or on vacation to "get a tan"...well a tan never happened - painful, dry, tight, beat red sunburns and sometimes even blisters happened! Not cute. And of course followed by peeling just to get me back to my original pale color. I always assumed spray tans were also not cute (orange) and was too superficial for me...then I was introduced to Simply Tan and tried it for my wedding - I was blown away by this absolutely gorgeous custom tan (and the team!)! I was hooked from then and love what it does for my confidence..safely!! A beautiful tan without the negative effects on your skin! Throughout my high school and college years I was an outdoor lifeguard. I always wanted to maintain that glow so going to a tanning bed during the winter seemed to be the only option. A few years later at a routine appointment with my doctor, I was referred to a dermatologist to have an irregular mole removed. One mole turned into a large patch of skin on my thigh. Since then I’ve searched high and low for the best natural looking sunless tan, and I finally found it with Simply Tan! When the opportunity to join the Simply Tan team came around I knew I had to be a part of this amazing team!

As a Licensed Esthetician and Medical Assistant, I have had experience in both traditional day spas as well as high end medical spas. As a result, I have gained a wealth of knowledge in all things skincare! I decided to become a spray artist when I met one of simply’s best, Erin! I had done my bridal trial with her in 2022 and fell in love with spray tanning instantly. I loved the idea of helping educate people on the safety of spray tanning over the dangers of UV; as well as answering all of their skincare questions! I am so fortunate to be a part of this woman owned, educated, fun, and professional team!

Growing up I loved the concept of “being tan”. Like many people, tanning beds were my go to and little did I know the amount of damage it was doing to my skin! As I got older I learned just how important it is to wear sunscreen and take care of your skin. After ditching the tanning beds, and trying different spray tan companies- I never was able to achieve the look I wanted. It wasn’t until I found Simply Tan that all that changed.
I found Simply Tan in 2018. No more tanning in the sun and damaging my skin. After my first spray tan I was completely hooked. The way it made me feel was like no other. It was truly an instant confidence boost. I am so happy to support the Simply Tan mission and be apart of this amazing team. While living in Binghamton my entire life, I have always admired a smooth, sun kissed, natural looking tan. Through using self tanner, and laying out in the sun during the summer, I could never find this type of tan until I started with Simply Tan. I was one of Simply Tans first customers, with trials of solution outcomes and different based solutions, I’ve always achieved the natural healthy glow with Simply Tan. Like most high schoolers I was OBSESSED with being tan, especially before holidays or dances and living in the Midwest where we have a short window of sunlight that meant...tanning beds. I continued to use them into college until 2013 when my Grandma found out she had skin cancer and a few months later my Dad got the same news. From then on I quit cold turkey! Like most people I have always been weary of spray tans and scared of the blotchiness or looking like a Cheetoh! Then I met Katie and scheduled a Simply Tan airbrush spray tan. My whole point of view has changed on spray tans. I knew I had to join the team and make people feel as amazing as she made me feel with that first spray!

Being naturally more fair skinned, I have always loved a nice tan! Living in Arizona I learned a lot about taking care of my skin in my early 20’s. Moving back to the Midwest I wanted to find somewhere to go to keep up my tan without all the harmful rays from spending too much time in the sun. I found Simply Tan when looking for a place to go for all my bridal events! I loved the way they looked, and really enjoyed getting to know the people who worked there through the process. I joined the Simply Tan team to meet new people and help them get their glow now too!
